The Similan Islands National Maritime Park, 70 kilometers from the Asian continent, is a paradise considered the "top ten" of world diving.

The nine islands that make up the Similan archipelago (Mu Ko Similan) are located in the heart of the Andaman Sea, about three hours by boat from the peninsula. Its waters correspond to Thailand, but are very close to the territorial limits with Burma. Its name derives from the Malaysian word "sembelan" which means nine, alluding to the number of islands that make up the entire complex, mostly uninhabited, although on some of the islands you can spend the night in tents or bungalows as long as it does not coincide with the monsoon period.

The entire coastline is characterized by its white sand, although the tropical forests reach the coast, camouflaging themselves among the gigantic and extravagant granite rocks that form a spectacular landscape. Already at the seabed, the surprises do not stop when you discover the authentic gardens of multicolored coral that are home to numerous tropical species: turtles, manta rays, giant groupers and whale sharks.
